Module 6: Finance and Financial Planning and Budgeting
Module Introduction
For Part A of this Module you will learn about the importance of budgeting and how to prepare a budget.
For Part B of this module, you will explore a slightly different approach to planning and considering your career options. For this task you will consider your ideal life style at 30 years old - What it would look like and then you will cost it out and create a budget to determine how much money you would need to earn to live your ideal life at the age of 30.
From there, you will consider some of your career areas and determine if those careers would be able to afford you the lifestyle you want to live. If not, you may learn that you will have to adjust your lifestyle preferences and/or consider alternative careers that you may not have considered before, but may also find fulfilling.
For Students Taking Co-op for a Second or Third Time, you will also complete Part B.
