Your child will alternate weeks between the English and French teacher, but they will stay in the same room with the same ECEs.  

Hello! I am Laura Green - otherwise known as "Ms. Green" - and I am excited to be your child's English teacher this year. I have been teaching with the OCDSB since 1998, and have been a Kindergarten teacher since 2009. I love working with this age group and consider it a privilege to be a part of your child's first experiences at school.

I grew up in Barrhaven but now live in Carleton Place with my family. In our free time we work on restoring our 100 year old house.

Bonjour mes amis! My name is Anne Payette and I will be your child's French Teacher this year. 

I grew up here in Ottawa where I learned French in school. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband, our 8 year old son and our 5 year old daughter. I love to read, drink coffee and dream about travelling! I can't wait to learn and play with your child this school year.

Hello! My name is Amna Bakhtyar. I will be working as a registered early childhood educator in your child's kindergarten classroom this year .I have been in this field past fifteen years and my experience includes working in Montessori, Reggio Emilia and school board environments in Canada.

This is  my eleventh year here at Chapman mills PS. I am looking forward to an amazing school year with you and your child. I find it particularly rewarding to be able to encourage and witness children as they develop and refine their skills through interaction with their teachers and peers.
