Pat le Chat is all about colours! We projected a page from the book onto the whiteboard and the children labelled Pat with French colour cards.
We have been singing "Head and Shoulders" in French. Singing this song helps us label our own Pat le Chat.
Listen to this fun story in French! Encourage your child to read along and repeat "pas du tout!" After the story, review the colours in French with your child.
The children loved this graphing game! They roll the dice and put a gem on the graph above the matching colour. Which colour has the most? Which colour has the least?
If you are looking to download this graphing game, here is the link to the website where I found it.
Have your child retell the story by putting the food and shoes in order. Use the youtube videos to help you remember! Encourage your child to independently colour, cut and glue the pieces to the page.
The kiddos "adore les souliers" in all sorts of colours!
We discussed shapes, colours and body parts in French as we made our own Pat le Chat!
