Bio

Diamond is an empathic, skilled, reliable and interactive therapist. She has expertise in a myriad of sectors within the psychological field. She graduated from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology. Diamond has a wide range of experience in helping adults, adolescents, and children work through trauma, depression, anxiety, and psychosis. Her experience includes trauma (firsthand, vicarious, historical, and generational), anger management, fitness restoration, family services, and court-ordered services. She supports individuals involved in the criminal justice system for various reasons, including systemic issues such as race, gender, and cultural injustices. She also has significant experience working with adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Diamond’s lifelong dream is to provide services to multiple communities, including marginalized groups, and to highlight the importance of intersectionality. She enjoys finding creative ways to work with and advocate for her clients. She finds that advocacy is vital in her professional and personal life. She says, “Many times clients have not experienced individuals that support them.” Thus, she believes that, “It is essential to help individuals identify healthy and appropriate ways to advocate for themselves.”

Diamond believes that many philosophies and therapeutic interventions should be integrated and used in therapy. Although there is importance in childhood experiences and attachment styles, it is also essential to address the present moment, reduce negative thought patterns, and promote strength-building.

Diamond likes to do yoga, paint, draw, and dance in her free time. She also enjoys nature and spending time with her pets, family, and friends.
