2023 Internship

Job Summary

The BSP Summer Intern will become a member of the on-campus Bonner team by supporting Summer of Service scholars by managing BWBRS, facilitating reflections, and coordinating communications. They will assist with cornerstone and community building event planning for the coming year including, but not limited to, Bonner Orientation, the Sophomore Exchange, and a fall retreat. The intern will connect with the Bonner Foundation by attending the Summer Leadership Institute. Other duties as assigned. 

Internship start and end date and vacation are negotiable, however, work will be between May 15 and August 31.

Responsibilities

• Summer of service communications and reflections

• Bonner Foundation Summer Leadership Institute attendance

• BWBRS

• Bonner Weekly creation

• Instagram management

• Fall program planning including, but not limited to, fall retreat, and Sophomore Exchange

• Class of 2027 recruitment and orientation

Qualifications

• Matriculating Bonner Scholars

• Priority and special consideration will be given to scholars completing a summer of service

• Ability to work independently with an awareness to know when to seek guidance or assistance

• Ability to understand and maintain confidentiality

• Coming up with ideas and taking direction from feedback

Compensation

$15.00 /per hour and subsidized on-campus housing is available. Additionally, this position qualifies as a summer of service opportunity.
