I am a senior undergraduate studying Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. In addition to my studies, I am a Global Leaders and Scholars in STEM (GLASS) scholar, a resident assistant for NYU, and a teaching assistant for the General Engineering Department at Tandon. My goal is to develop and patent novel devices and medicines that will enhance the medical industry, with the ultimate aim of building a business around these breakthroughs.
I joined the GLASS program to acquire a diverse set of skills that can be applied to my future endeavors, whether they are cultural, economic, or personal. This holistic approach has provided me with clarity on my professional career path and will guide me in becoming a successful engineer who can adapt to the demands of the modern world.

The GLASS program as a whole has positively benefited me by providing me with the funds and guidance necessary to ascertain and accomplish my goals
One of the primary benefits it has provided has been the study abroad experience as well as the weekly meetings where different activities are conducted which promote both my professional and personal goals
By far, the most enjoyable experience the GLASS program has exposed me to is the study abroad experience. I was exposed to completely different cultures and people which definitely led to significant growth in both my academic ability and my professional experience.
