It's never too early to begin preparing for graduation.
As soon as you receive your plan of study, you should take note of your Expected Graduation Term (EGT). You should also confirm that this date is correct in your ALBERT student center. If the date is not correct in ALBERT, you should update your expected graduation term as soon as possible.
There are three degree conferral dates:
Late- September (for students whose last semester in the program is the Summer term)
Late January (for students whose last semester in the program is the Fall term)
Mid-May (for students whose last term in the program is the Spring term)
Your degree requirements are listed in your program handbook and Plan of Study (POS). The department will provide guidance around these requirements, but it is your responsibility to track your progress and ensure that you are completing all requirements in a timely manner. Failure to complete your graduation requirements by the conferral deadline will delay your graduation date.
