Please complete the below items as part of MS CRS program onboarding. Completing each task on this list will ensure that students are able to begin their coursework and attend the first residency in June. Feel free to email the MS CRS team at ask.mscrs@nyu.edu with questions or concerns - we are here to help!
Set up your NYU email and mail forwarding to your personal email. All program-related emails will be sent to your NYU emails once you begin the program so please make sure to set mail forwarding to ensure that you don't miss any important emails!
How to set up your NYU email:
Go to the NYU Start Page (http://start.nyu.edu)
Enter your NetID (provided via email, which contains your initials followed by three or four numbers), then click "Start."
Re-enter your password and click "Continue."
Select the option from the menu to "Activate your NYU Google Apps for Education account," and accept the terms of use. Enter a new password and follow the instructions on the screen to complete activation of your email account.
Once your email account has been activated, you may access your NYU email account by navigating to NYU Home and selecting the "NYU Email" card or by going directly to email.nyu.edu.
To ensure that no communication gets lost, set up your NYU email account to forward all of your emails to your personal email account here.
Log into NYU Home to check out all the widgets and links available in your account. This will log you into NYU Brightspace, your NYU email, and your Google Drive all at once and allow for smoother access to academic materials.

Complete the administrative form BY APRIL 22, 2025.
*This form asks for information such as emergency contact details, allergies and dietary restrictions, and country of citizenship/residence. The MS CRS team will pick up all ID cards for students who submit photos by June 16, 2025 EOD. Otherwise, students can pick up their NYU ID from the card center before or on the first day of the June residency.
