To ensure that everyone from all backgrounds will be set up to succeed in the program, we have created two optional pre-program foundational courses. You are not required to complete these courses.
If you would like to explore these two courses, we expect that these courses will take about 10-15 hours each.
Once you enter the course site, please click on “Getting Started” to find out how to navigate the course site.
Please see attached for the guide outlining the required and optional readings for this course.
Introduction to Computer Networking
Once you enter the course site, please click on “Getting Started” to find out how to navigate the course site and to watch the introductory video.
You can choose to “Opt-Out” of both courses by successfully completing the “Opt-Out Test” for the Introduction to US Law course and the “Final Exam” for the Introduction to Computer Networking course. Please go to the respective NYU Brightspace course site to access these tests.
These courses are meant to provide foundational knowledge for each topic to help students prepare for the academic year ahead. You are not required to complete these courses, as they are meant to be helpful resources!
