Dazzle

Dazzle is a work that explores the realms of music and visualization. As music plays in the background a calm visualization bounces to the beat rhythmically. It has evolved a lot since it's original inception of just playing around with the perceptions of moving shapes. The work began with simply playing around with fractals and 2d shapes moving in a 2d space until I realized that certain movements gave the illusion of shapes moving in a 3d space. I continued to play around with the work, slowly adding more functionality and visual options. Dazzle seemed completed at that point (which I call Dazzle 1.0) until I remembered those old music visualization programs from old windows media player back in the day. I was interested in seeing how a simple version of that would look in my work. Many Iterations later, a new version of Dazzle (what i call Dazzle 2.0) was born.
