External Funding for Leaves/Sabbaticals

To confirm the status of your award, inclusive of fellowships and research grants, please login to OASIS and navigate to the Faculty Leaves Section under Faculty via the OASIS home page:

Select the relevant application and click on "Add External Funding"​​. Please report applicable status for AY23/24 by April 3, 2023.

Please choose one of three options as appropriate, for your external funding: received, pending or not awarded. Please upload your award letter for funding received and indicate desired payment arrangements. Should you have multiple awards, please submit an external funding form for each, inclusive of instances in which support is provided by initiatives connected with NYU.

NOTE: If you select the option to have payment administered via NYU, you are attesting to the fact that the external agency/foundation covers NYU's fringe rate of approximately 30% in addition to the award.

Where this is not the case, please select the option to receive payment directly from the agency/foundation.

If your award status is pending, it would be a great help to provide the anticipated confirmation date in the comments section of the form.

In the event your award may not have come through, please update your leave application accordingly no later than April 3, 2023:

-Should you wish to cancel your request, please use the "withdraw" option provided on your OASIS application.

-For sabbatical requests that would have been supplemented to full pay by external funding, applications will be updated to reflect 75% pay.

-If you would like to apply for a leave without pay in lieu of your prior plans, please withdraw the initial request and submit a new application at the earliest convenience.
