Each Program can nominate up to three students for the awards for which their students are eligible.
Any faculty or staff member can nominate up to two students for the Teaching Award and Research Award.
Each nomination form requires a brief recommendation statement.
Reminder: There is no student self-nomination process for Spring Department Awards.
The Awards Committee will review all nominations and determine the winners for each Award.
Award Winners will be announced in late April.
This award is for one graduating BS student in recognition of their outstanding commitment, engagement, and growth at their fieldwork site.
This award is for one graduating BS students for dedication and service to the Department of Applied Psychology.
This award is for students for their contribution to improving the life conditions of vulnerable individuals or communities. Graduating BS and MA students are eligible.
This award is for helpfulness, congeniality, and dedication to their program or peers.

This award is for students whose research demonstrates excellence and originality. Graduating BS and MA, and all PhD students are eligible. (Please attach a student CV with nomination)
This award is for one graduating School Counseling student in recognition of outstanding work in support of the goals of school counselors.
This award is for one PhD student who demonstrates excellence in the area of teaching.
This $5000 award recognizes the outstanding doctoral research of three PhD students with an approved dissertation proposal. It honors work that demonstrates originality, innovation, and societal impact, providing support to help students complete their dissertation research.
