1. Student self-nomination/Recommendation Period: Oct 5th (12 pm) - Oct 27th (5 pm)

Students must complete a nomination form, including a short essay, and upload their resume/CV for each award they wish to apply for.
Students must also get one or two letters of recommendation from any NYU-affiliated faculty member, adjunct, or supervisor.
For Fall 2026, we have updated the student self-nomination/recommendation platform to InfoReady. Please review the PDF or Video guide before you complete your application.

Program Directors (with the help of their program committees) will choose students to put forward to the Awards Committee.

The Awards Committee will review all program nominations and determine the winners for each scholarship/fellowship.

The Office of Grad Admissions will review all Awards Committee choices to verify students' eligibility and disseminate the funds.
5. All applicants are notified of the status of their applications, and the recipients' names will be announced.
