I am currently studying the development of cultured/in-vitro meat, which is meat grown in a laboratory setting through the use of synthetic tissue engineering techniques. Over the past 40 years, meat production and demand, leading to concerns regarding feeding the global population. The environmental toll of livestock breeding is also highly prevalent, as it leads to increased land usage and greenhouse gas emissions. Through the development of cultured meat, many benefits can be achieved, such as increased animal welfare, the elimination of environmentally-tolling livestock breeding, a potentially cheaper alternative to industrialized animal agriculture, and much more.

The most important thing that I have learned in Science Research is learning how to organize and present information through the presentations/posters that I have made this year.
