Hi! My name is Maggie Shepard. I am a senior in the dental program at Southwest CTA. I am also a 3 year journalism student; which is part of the reason I was interested in taking this class. For our articles on the Southwest Shadow, there's a featured image, and I wanted to get better at taking these images.

During the time when I'm not in the classroom, I am playing softball. I am a second baseman and a slap hitter. This is my major passion and has been an outlet for me ever since I was 8.

My dream job is to be an orthodontist, which is the reason I wanted to pursue the dental program. I want to help people want to smile.
