Forced Perspective

For this assignment, I was slightly perplexed in terms of creativity. At first I wasn't able to see how the foreground and the background could come together and fool the audience. However, after learning about f stop and aperture, I was able to take shots of these forced perspectives. My first picture outing, I took pictures that had a perspective but it wasn't forced.

This photo I tried to make it look like she is jump roping. Both the person and the "rope" are in focus allowing the image to have a forced perspective. There is balance and variety with her on the right and the umbrella on the left. The white rope also acts as a leading line through the photo.

For this picture, I wanted the person to look as if she was holding a lollipop. The tree trunk acts as a leading line up the picture. The hand is the focal point. The tree leaves towards the top create emphasis in addition to the hand.

I was given this idea by Mr. Rizzo because my first attempt with the coyote had a person standing in the background. When I tried the first time it wasn't really forcing a perspective because nothing was really happening. But the photo has horizontal leading lines towards the top which brings the eye to the attention of the focal point. There is emphasis on the coyote because of the hand.
