Genoa is a small town with a population of approximately 1,000 people, and the religious affiliation of its residents is diverse. However, the Mormon population in Genoa as a whole has played a significant role in the city's history and culture. Mormons were among the early pioneers who settled in Nevada in the 19th century, and their influence can still be seen today in the many historic buildings, museums, and cultural sites that are dedicated to preserving Mormon heritage and history in Genoa
