WHat are coping Skills and why are they important 

Coping skills are a valuable tool for managing worries and handling stressful situations. Mental health and well-being plays an important role in one’s life, as well as how we deal with stressors and trauma that can negatively impact us. The more coping skills we obtain to deal with environmental changes, the more likely we are to maintain a healthier lifestyle and overall better mental well being. Anxiety 

Anxiety is your body’s natural response to stress. It’s a feeling of fear or apprehension about what’s to come. The first day of school, going to a job interview, or giving a speech may cause most people to feel fearful and nervous. 

But if your feelings of anxiety are extreme, last for longer than six months, and are interfering with your life, you may have an anxiety disorder.


Testing Anxiety 

Study skills help to reduce test anxiety, improve focus, and increase motivation to do well on tests. Good study habits are important for all students, but they are particularly beneficial for those with ADHD or test anxiety.
