Students, chances are you are going to need a letter or letter(s) of recommendation as you apply for college, employment, complete scholarship applications, or prepare your Senior Project Portfolio, etc. So, although we possess superpowers and we can do a multitude of things, we do struggle with writing letters without the information we need and not having enough notice to meet your deadline(s).
Below is the process for requesting a Letter of Recommendation.
Email your counselor to request a Letter of Recommendation.
Please give us at least a two-week notice to have time to complete it. Provide us with the due date. However, you may communicate with your counselor to see if he/she has time to write one in less than the two-week time period.
Include a copy of your resume.
Include answers to the Letter of Recommendation Form. The answers to these questions help us get to know you better and as a result we are able to write a more personal letter about you.
Include the name of the recipient/company who it needs to be addressed to and contact information, if applicable.
