Mosaic Voices

Mosaic Voices: This class is for the ambitious, energetic & willing singer. We work on many aspects of solo singing, acting, stage movement and performing. We work on solo and group performance techniques in and outside of class. Students must be very focused and motivated to improve their performance abilities, acting skills and vocal technique. Students will primarily perform songs from musical theater, as well genres that influence musical theater, including: jazz, blues, funk, R&B, rock, and modern commercial music.  Much of the year is also spent on music theory and the history of musical theater. This class incorporates choreography and movement to enhance student performances. This course is taught by Ms. Groberg, but students work regularly with guest teachers and para-professionals, receiving one-on-one instruction.
