The Vocal Department

The Del Sol Academy Vocal Department is home to over 200 students who participate in a variety of classes & ensembles. We currently have 1 treble voice ensemble, 1 tenor-bass ensemble, 1 mixed voice premiere ensemble, 1 mixed voice symphonic ensemble & 1 musical theater ensemble. 🔥 VIEW CHOIRS & CLASSES...

Our amazing music department has had wonderful opportunities to travel and work with professionals from all around the globe. The DSA music department has traveled to places such as Hollywood, San Diego, New York City, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, and more! 

The DSA Vocal Program is where passion meets excellence. Students strengthen their vocal technique, develop music theory skills, and gain the confidence to shine as performers and artists. Our program emphasizes creativity, professionalism, and collaboration, helping singers grow both musically and personally. Most importantly, we believe music should be fun—so every student can enjoy the journey while discovering their unique voice.

Our School

In the Fall of 2004, Del Sol High School was born. However, in 2016 it was reestablished as a performing arts academy. Del Sol Academy of the Performing Arts is a nine-month public high school in the Clark County School District. We are located in the central part of Las Vegas, near the Harry Reid International Airport and Sunset Park. Del Sol Academy has a long and successful history in academics, athletics, and the arts. 

At Del Sol Academy, we don’t follow the traditional 48-minute schedule. Our students learn in 85-minute class periods, giving them time to connect, create, and grow. Academic classes meet every other day, while magnet program classes meet every day. This unique schedule ensures magnet students receive the focused, intensive instruction they need to develop their skills and excel in their passion.​ 

Del Sol Academy of the Performing Arts is a thriving magnet school in the Clark County School District that specializes in arts education. Our performing arts magnet programs include studies in vocal music, instrumental music, theatre acting, theatre tech, theatre costume design & dance. DSA also has a thriving visual arts department with 5 full-time art teachers.  We believe that our students hold the power to accomplish anything they set their minds to - the possibilities are endless!
