An Orchestra council is an important group of students that’s mission is to maximize the orchestra experience for everyone. The following titles need to be voted in. 

President (Junior/Senior):

• Director's second hand helper for all events

• Run student officer meetings (about once a month)

• Lead communicator between director and ensemble

• Spokesperson for your orchestra at all orchestra events

• Oversee and allocate student leaders for ASTA events, Concerts, feeder sectionals, fundraising events, and Coronado sponsored events. 

• Relay student concerns to Mr. Thomas

Vice President (Junior/Senior):

• Head of Publicity- create fliers, Social Media events, invitations, etc., assist with website upkeep

• Editor of all performance programs

• Organization of stage crew/ushers for performances

• President's helper for all events

• Video Recording for Concerts

Librarian (Sophomore/Junior/Senior):

• Take preliminary attendance for your orchestra in class, rehearsals, performances, etc.

• Take care of anything that needs documented/sorted

• Organization of forms for trips, beginning of year documents, summer camp

• Keep the Orchestra Library and rehearsal folder copied and in order

• Music issues (makes practice copies of music)

Publicist/Social Media Coordinator (Sophomore/Junior/Senior): 

• Manage social media accounts

• Post pictures from events/fundraisers

• Create posts on social media providing announcements regarding the orchestra events/concerts

 Historian (Sophomore/Junior/Senior): 

• Coordinates photography at orchestra events and sends them to the publicist

• Responsible for making a slideshow for the CHS Orchestra Banquet

Delegates (recruited by officers):

Students of any grade that wish to accrue volunteer hours, have orchestra input, or be tasked with making positive impacts in your class.

Duties We ALL share:

• Brainstorm, create, and execute all duties regarding Orchestra Banquet on May 7, 2024

• Copying of documents (learn how to use the copier PROPERLY!)

• Welcoming the freshman, showing them the expectations of orchestra

• Concert Set Up/Strike

• Appropriate peer discipline

• End of year room & inventory

• End of summer room set up
