If your chair decides to change the procedure, they will inform you. Otherwise, assume that standard Rules of Procedure are being utilized.
In Crisis Committees, the majority of debate will still be in moderated and unmoderated caucuses, but voting blocs will also be interspersed throughout debate rather than the "final act" it is in a GA. Additionally, crisis updates will break up the debate at regular intervals or whenever debate begins to slow (at the chair's discretion).
What is a crisis update?
The structure and timing of speeches following the same structure as a standard GA committee. However, Voting Blocs will happen a lot more frequently to accommodate the influx of committee directives throughout the course of debate.
In addition, because of the ongoing actions taking place via written directives and the consequent Crisis Updates, the topic of debate will change very rapidly.
Through Directives, Personal or Committee-wide, delegates are able to influence the direction of debate. What is written will only impact the flow of debate via the frequency of crisis updates and the number of ensuing committee directive which will require voting blocs.
