I’m a 6th grader, I love to draw pictures especially anime and cartoon characters. I love to act and be in musicals or plays, acting is what I want to do for a living. It keeps me busy all the time! I am also a very good gamer, I love to play Minecraft and Brawlhalla on my Nintendo Switch. I am a friendly gamer and love to build ideas in Minecraft and watch them come to life. I also have been thinking about becoming a YouTuber, I think it would be one of my best interests in my spare time.

Hi, my name is Leah. This is my second year in newspaper club. I do surveys and write articles. Last year, I wrote articles about the different holidays each season. I am in 7th grade, team 3. I do dance and field hockey. Some of my hobbies include skating and baking. My favorite subject in school is social studies. I am excited to see how the newspapers come out this year and I can't wait to start writing. Fun fact, my older sister Kate was the original founder of the school newspaper club here at Elm St. two years ago.

My name is Tara. I am 13 years old and I am in the 8th grade. I am a writer for The Eagle Times. I play three instruments; guitar, piano, and oboe. I play tennis and I do fencing. My favorite school subject is English, and Social Studies. I am really excited to start writing for you!

Katelin M.

Hi, I am Katelin and I work for the school newspaper. In the newspaper I work on puzzles! I like to make all sorts of puzzles such as Word Searches, Crossword puzzles, Mad Libs and more. I like to play Field Hockey and Softball. My favorite subject in school is math. In my spare time I am known to skateboard and bake. I am in 7th grade and am on Team 1. I'm so excited to create puzzles for the next edition of the newspaper !

My name is Gopika and I am in 8th grade. I have an older sister who goes to UMass Amherst College. I live with my mom, dad, sister, and my two dogs. One is a mix of a Golden Retriever and a Golden Labrador and his breed is called a goldador. He’s 4 years old. My second one is a German Shepherd and he’s 3 months old. My hobbies that I like to do is I like to draw, I like to sing, and I like to play with my dogs. I also like to go biking with my friends.

My name is Angelise. I am 13 years old. My favorite subjects are Science and English. They are my favorite subjects because they come the easiest to me than the other classes. I have two pets. I have a tuxedo cat named Sophie, and a dog that is a West Highland Terrier named Pearl. My favorite artists are Arctic Monkeys, Clairo, Joji, and The Neighborhood. My favorite color is navy blue and black. When I am older I want to work at a bookstore but also that has coffee, in London. My favorite book is Wishtree by Katherine Applegate.

Hi! My name is Diya and I’m a 6th grader. I do ballet, and newspaper. I have a younger sister. I love Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, P!nk, Lindsey Stirling, and a bunch of others. My dream place to live is near the coast of Rhode Island or New York. My favorite subjects are, Social Studies, Science, Writing, and Reading. My favorite flowers are, Wisteria, Cherry Blossoms, Lavender, and Roses. My favorite songs are I don't want to live forever, 22, End Game, Begin Again, Red, and Artemis (Lindsey Stirling) and many other songs. Lastly, I hope you like our newspaper!

Hi, my name is Camryn P, and I'm 13 years old. I have a black lab dog named Dougie, and he’s seven years old. Fall is my favorite time of the year because I like the leaves and the cold weather. Two of my favorite deserts are oatmeal raisin cookies and apple pie. Gray is my overall favorite color, but my favorite color to wear is blue. French and math are my two favorite subjects. I dislike cats and cheese because they both gross me out. My favorite things to do to pass time is bake and watch Netflix.
