I joined the Newspaper Club this year as an 8th grader, and quickly moved up the ladder to the Editor. I put the newspaper you see together, and edit most of the articles. Becoming a part of the Newspaper Club, was a great choice because I get to help develop leadership skills by organizing people and articles, not only I am developing these skills, I can help other members learn organization and leadership tactics as well. Here’s a little bit about me, I dance with Y Dance In Motion, and have been dancing there for 12 years. Dancing is how I spend pretty much all of my free time, and when I’m not at school you can see me in the studio. My other hobbies include writing, drawing, and keeping myself and other people organized. In my short time on the paper it has helped me discover what I enjoy doing, and what I might like to pursue as a career in the future.
I am 12 years old and in 6th grade. What I do for the newspaper is comics/drawings. Some things I enjoy to do in my free time is drawing and reading. One of my favorite classes is art. Honestly, I am a bit lazy. I am very much a night owl. I am a very loyal person and I have a pretty good sense of humor. The newspaper club is a fun after school activity for me.
I went to Ledge Street Elementary school. I am a middle child and I write about sports in the newspaper. I like to play soccer in my free time and I also play soccer for my team ISC (International Soccer Club). I like to talk with my friends when I am in school.
I am 14 years old and in 8th grade. I joined the newspaper at the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year. I joined the newspaper because I love to write. I am a dancer at KC Dance Company and have been dancing for 12 years. I also play volleyball and was on the Elm Street team all three years of middle school, being a captain my eighth grade year. I also enjoy reading, doing brush calligraphy, and spending time with friends and family.
