Blog #4 Failure & Success

This lesson has definitely altered my thinking process while navigating through school and my life. I have a very strong belief that schools should give grades or work that would help you better your work, instead of just saying you did not do good enough and moving on to a new topic or subject. If speaking to someone who thought they were a "failure" I would tell them to stay true to themselves and never give into quitting. To me a "growth mindset" is something everyone should be working towards in their lives. This is an important attribute to cultivate because it helps in any aspect of life, people should always be trying to better themselves and never settle until they achieve what they desire. The power in taking responsibility in your actions and wanting to better yourself and pursue your goals is something that will keep the earth spinning. I know personally I have failed at math many times, but I still keep trying, going in for extra help before and after school just to scratch for a decent grade. Overall it's not the grade that matters, it's my work ethic in trying to better myself that will take me far in life.
