Summary:
My first goal was to begin adding information to my website - particularly the home page. I planned for evidence to be screenshots of my website as I make changes. I did add to my website, but not as much as I originally expected.
My second goal was to continue my research by looking at websites. Evidence is notes in my research google doc. I did lots of research in the past two weeks, I believe I have almost all the information I need for my website.
My third goal was to watch the youtube videos I have saved in a playlist on my channel. I planned for my evidence to be notes and summaries from each video and possibly screen-recorded videos or screenshots if I see anything I want to add to my website. I did end up taking a couple screenshots from videos, and I got lots of good notes that will help the content of my website.
My fourth goal was to begin a collection of price differences between some sustainable options vs non-sustainable options. My evidence is a google doc that compares the two options. I considered making a google sheets to further display this comparison, but I think I can find a better way in future weeks.
Evidence for all of my goals can be found here: innovations log
Reflection:
I think my choices for this plan were very realistic, I was able to work on them without feeling overwhelmed. I still have to continue working on completing my research and the website itself, but I made lots of progress over the past two weeks. My biggest achievement for this plan was beginning to add information to my website. At the beginning of the two weeks my website was simply a blank canvas with some small layout details. Now, I have a much clearer idea of where I want to go with it in the coming weeks. As I continue my goals, I want them to be more focused on tasks that I can complete. So far most have my goals have been 'starting' or 'completing,' but as I get closer to having a completed website I want my goals to be more straightforward (ex. complete home page rather than simply working on it).
