April 4 - April 15

Summary:

My first goal was to complete the homepage of my website. I planned for evidence to be screenshots of my website (before and after) and a link to my website (if possible). I was able to complete this goal, although I might go back and change some aspects of my homepage as I complete the rest of my website.

My second goal was to finish research by reading more websites and watching videos. I said that evidence would be notes in my research and video docs. I completed this goal, but I don't think it was very necessary. I had already completed nearly all of my research in prior two week plans.

My third goal was to start gathering images, videos, infographics, etc. that I want to add to my website. I planned for my evidence to be a log with these additions and links that credit their owners. I was able to get a good start on this goal, but it's difficult to know what I'll want to add to the website before adding information to it.

My fourth goal was to complete the ‘more resources’ section of my website. First I planned to have to actually gather these resources, which would be in a doc. I planned for my final evidence to be screenshots of the page on my website and also a link if possible. I was able to complete this goal, and I'm very happy with how this page ended up on the website.

Reflection:

I think my choices for this plan were very realistic, but I think I didn't have quite enough to do. I still have a lot of work to do to complete my website. I did make a lot of progress over the past two weeks, but I would have liked to complete an additional page in this two week plan. My biggest achievement for this plan was gathering lots of images for my website. In my next plan I will have to finish adding all of my information to my website, and this achievement will make that next step much easier. Now that I have all of my facts and images to go along with them, completing the website should be more like putting pieces of a puzzle together. As I continue my goals, I want them to be more focused on tasks that will reach towards a completed website. So far most have my goals have been in separate docs, but as I finish up my final two weeks I want my evidence to be seen on my website. (which you can find at https://yourownecohome.weebly.com!)
