My original 4 goals:
Research platforms and find the most suitable one to create my website on, evidence will be links to platforms and short descriptions of each one and a description of my final choice including why it's the best one.
Begin a rough draft of how the website will be laid out, evidence will be a drawing/some sort of brainstorm of this layout.
Start gathering research on my topic, evidence will be a google doc with research and links to websites (articles, videos) - some research will be focused around cost, environmental impact, long-term advantages/disadvantages.
Ask Mrs. Connolly (environmental teacher) if I can meet with her and discuss some of her thoughts on what her sustainable house build would include (something she has mentioned in class before), evidence will be written notes of what she shares.
Link to log with evidence for all 4 goals. Evidence is organized by day.
I feel that my choices in goals for this plan were very realistic. The only goal I struggled with completing was brainstorming my website layout. It was difficult to visualize my website with little knowledge and information on the topic. My biggest achievement for this plan was finding the correct platform to build my website on - it look a lot of researching and thinking about pros and cons before I was able to ultimately decide on Weebly. As I develop my goals, I will need to think more about how much knowledge I have on the subject going into each step. I will also need to work on finding content other than just facts for my website - like pictures and videos I can incorporate.
