In this Phase, the District and its team collaborate with the MSBA to document their educational program (including the creation of an Educational Profile), generate an initial space summary, document existing conditions, establish design parameters, develop and evaluate alternatives, and recommend the most cost effective and educationally appropriate preferred solution to the MSBA Board of Directors for their consideration. During this phase, the Owner's Project Manager submitted, on behalf of the District and its Designer, a Preliminary Design Program and a Preferred Schematic Report. Approval by the MSBA Board of Directors is required, and was achieved, in order to proceed into the next Module, schematic design.
Nashoba submitted the Preliminary Design Report on June 27, 2022 and the Preliminary Schematic Report on October 27, 2022.
The MSBA Board of Directors approved the PSR and invited Nashoba to enter the Schematic Design Phase on December 21, 2022.
