MARINE BIOLOGY

This is a course for students interested in marine systems. Students will investigate the various components of marine ecosystems through lectures, laboratory activities, and individual research projects. Additional sites may be included if the scope of student research so demands. Students

will engage in exploring topics such as properties of water, ocean floor topography, the deep sea, coral reefs, whale evolution, marine invertebrates vs. vertebrates, shark anatomy and human impact on marine environments.
