The focus of PE I is to provide a positive learning experience for the students through physical activity in their freshman year. Activities presented in this course center on lifelong physical activity, cooperative/team games, and physical fitness. In the Wellness Center, students will learn basic information on how to utilize the strength and conditioning machines. In the gymnasium, the students will learn different ways to stay active through the units of tennis, lifetime games, fitness, volleyball, and badminton. In addition, students will complete the four state-mandated physical fitness tests (CPFA).
