MUSIC TECHNOLOGY I

This is an introductory course that explores the basic principles of music technology, the history of MIDI, and how it developed. Topics covered will include basic music theory, physics, and biology as they relate to music technology, as well as basic recording principles such as looping. Students will explore different computer software programs to create their own compositions. Students must be able to work cooperatively and independently.
