DISCRETE MATH II

This course reinforces basic math skills as well as algebra skills through the study of topics such as (1) symmetry, (2)fractal shapes, (3) Euler Circuits, (4) the Traveling Salesman Problem, (5) scheduling and networks, (6) graph coloring and (7) the evolution of number systems. These topics highlight applicability, accessibility, modernity and aesthetics in mathematics. This is a stand-alone course. Students can take Discrete Math I or Discrete Math II or both Discrete Math I and Discrete Math II. Courses may be taken in any order.
