JOURNALISM

This course is designed for students interested in developing their skills as writers and in becoming critical consumers of the news. For this hands-on course, students will become journalists responsible for investigating topics, conducting interviews, writing in a variety of journalistic forms, and discussing editorial positions. This course also explores ethical issues related to news and bias techniques used by news organizations to help students become educated media consumers.
