Ready for more in-depth studies into the “language of business”? This course is a continuation of Principles of Financial Accounting A-H, whereby students will further their knowledge by completing the accounting cycle for a merchandising company. Students will record and analyze payroll transactions and interpret financial statements for public companies. Because accounting knowledge is beneficial to business professionals in every discipline, this course provides students with the financial literacy and skills necessary to make informed personal and business decisions. Students will also explore and investigate career opportunities within the accounting field. This course is also recommended for any students who plan to pursue a major in business. Students enrolled in grades 10-12 may be eligible to receive college credit for successful completion of Principles of Financial Accounting A-H and Principles of Financial Accounting B CCP. The courses do NOT have to be taken in the same year, but it is highly recommended.
