PERSONAL FINANCE CCP

Show me the money! This course introduces students to personal finance topics that will help shape their views and understanding around money! . Students learn all about banks and financial institutions and the services offered, investing and savings, budgeting, income and wealth, payroll and taxes, buying goods and services, and insurance.  Students will also learn how to write checks, understand the difference between a debit card and credit card, and explore future careers of interest and develop a salary based budget. Students will be able to immediately apply course materials to their life! Students enrolled in grades 10-12 may be eligible to receive college credit for successful completion of this course.  Students taking this course may not take Financial Literacy.
