BUSINESS LAW & ETHICS

If it’s unethical, why isn’t it illegal? This course introduces the importance of ethics in business and offers an introductory view of our legal system as it pertains to businesses. Students focus on the significance of ethics to stakeholders, examine who bears responsibility for monitoring ethics, and analyze ethical situations common in organizations. Students will examine aspects of legal activities which influence the operation of a business. In addition, students will explore careers in business law and finance.
