This course introduces students to the skills and knowledge required in planning major to minor events. After studying the steps involved in planning special events, students will learn about planning sporting events, entertainment and the performing arts. Students gain valuable experience in project management and setting up working real catering events for the District and the schools around Newington. They will gain knowledge in these areas to enter the workforce after this course.
