Your support and encouragement is what helps make Band successful. I truly appreciate everything you are doing behind the scenes as your child is beginning their musical journey. Learning an instrument isn't always easy and each student may run into problems along the way. Please know that I am always available via email and am more than willing to set up individual, or small group, lessons with students
Weekly Announcements
Mr. Goguen sends weekly emails, NMS Music Notes, to remind parents of that week's band schedule, highlight important upcoming dates, and share any necessary announcements. If you are not receiving these emails, please contact Mr. Goguen to provide him with the email address you would like added.
Northbridge Music Boosters
The Northbridge Music Boosters is a parent volunteer group that helps with music events across our district! From fundraisers, to volunteering at concerts, to supporting our NPS Music Teachers, the Boosters are active members of our school community and are invaluable to the Music Department!

Practicing at Home
All Band and Chorus students should be practicing at home! Mr. Goguen recommends at least 60 minutes of practicing each week. Practicing at home helps reinforce what we are working on in class, and continues the development of our budding musician's muscles and skills . We appreciate your assistance in helping your child find the space and time for this practicing!
