Beginning Band

Students can begin learning a band instrument in the Northbridge Public Schools during 4th or 5th Grade. Instruments can be rented at the Instrument Rental Night. Before renting online or purchasing an instrument for your child, please make sure to check in with Mr. Goguen.

Beginning Band meets after school, from 3:00-3:45 PM at Northbridge Elementary School. Students will start out meeting once per week in small groups. This allows your child to begin learning their instrument alongside students playing similar instruments. A schedule for which instruments will meet on which days is posted below.

In November, this schedule will switch to meeting 2-3 times per week as a full band. This new schedule will continue this way to the end of the school year.
