North Penn School District to Provide Free Meals While Schools Are Closed

Providing nutritious meals to families during the school closure is of utmost importance to the North Penn School District. To this end, beginning Tuesday, March 17, NPSD invites families and care-givers to drive through* and pick up free meals for their children. Pick up locations will be located at the student drop off lane of the following schools:

Hatfield Elementary School, 1701 Fairgrounds Road, Hatfield, PA 19440

Knapp Elementary School, 698 Knapp Road, Lansdale, PA 19446

Oak Park Elementary School, 500 Squirrel Lane, Lansdale, PA 19446

Inglewood Elementary School, 1313 Allentown Road, Lansdale, PA 19446

Kulp Elementary School, 801 Cowpath Road, Hatfield, PA, 19440

Between 11 am and 1 pm, Monday through Friday beginning Tuesday, March 17, a grab-and-go lunch and breakfast will be provided to any children 18 years old and younger. The menu, which includes dairy products, sandwiches, cereal, snacks, fruit and milk, can be found here. Lunch and breakfast will be provided on a first come, first served basis. Children must be present in order for meals to be provided per United States Department of Agriculture regulations. Please stay in your car and meals will be passed through based on the number of children in the car. Meals must be eaten off site. No identification or student information is required.

*Families who live very close to any meal site may walk to pick up their meals but are asked to not congregate at the pick-up site.

Information about local food pantries can be found here for families that need additional support.
