setup Chrome Remote Desktop

You can use a computer or mobile device to access files and applications on another computer over the Internet with Chrome Remote Desktop

1. Download the Chrome Remote Desktop app.
2. On your computer, open Chrome.
3. In the address bar at the top, type chrome://apps, and press Enter.
4. Click Chrome Remote Desktop .
5. Under "My Computers," click Get started.
6. Click Enable remote connections.
7. Enter a PIN and re-type the PIN. Click OK.
8. Click Yes to install the Chrome Remote Host Service.
9. Confirm the Google Account and enter the PIN again to continue.

The computer you allowed should show up under "My Computers."

setup of Google Cast FOR Education

1. Go to the Chrome Web Store. Search for Google Cast for Education.
2. Click Add to Chrome.
3. Click Add app.
4. Click Google Cast for Education to open the app.
5. Type a name for your cast app, such as "Room 301". Click Save.
6. Click Share .
7. Type the name of a Google Classroom class or individual student email addresses that you want to invite to cast.
8. Select a level of access for each student or class:
   • Can present—Students can cast to your screen anytime you have the app open.
   • Can request—Students can request to cast; you need to Approve or Deny each request.
   • Students that aren’t on the list can’t see the cast app.
9. Add People by entering the students email or your class, then click Add.
10. Click Save.

To start accepting casts from your students, open the Cast for Education app on your computer. While the app is open, you or anyone you have shared the app with can cast to it. Casts appear within your Cast for Education app on the teacher device connected to the projector.
