college planning

Higher education comes in many forms: two or four year college/university, or technical and career schools.
A great place to start is to create a list of what you are looking for in a school and start searching.  Some factors to consider are location, size of campus, cost, major you is offered, etc.  Students can begin their college search within their Naviance accounts.  Another great way to gather resources is to attend a college fair.  Admissions representatives are there to answer questions about campus life, programs of study, sports , clubs and more.

The host of this Podcast, John Durante, will introduce you to college admissions representatives, and other professionals in the field of college admissions. Our purpose is to serve you the students and parents, so that you may gain insight straight from the people who ultimately make the decisions.

The College Tour is a TV series that tells the story of colleges and universities around the world.  Each episode of The College Tour will focus on a single college or university.   From campus life, academics, housing, sports, activities, and much more… each student driven segment will give young people an inside look at what it’s truly like being a student at the featured college or university.

Seniors will use Naviance to research colleges as well as to submit college applications.   Naviance can also be used to learn about different careers.  Students can take inventories to match their interests with various career options.
