Counselor's Corner
Resources From Your Counselors
Norwin School District is continuing to operate school-level Student Assistance Programs (SAP). SAP’s mission is to identify and remove barriers that children and their families are facing so that students can learn. This can include links to assist families struggling with providing for their families as well. A small group of specially trained staff members collaborate bi-weekly with local mental health providers to address these needs. If you would like to know more about what SAP can do for your child, please contact your child’s school counselor. In addition to this ongoing supportive program for students and parents, the Norwin psychologists, social worker and behavioral consultant have developed a a new site for parents and staff to assist them as they work with students. Click here to access this resource.
