Purpose: The Parent Association for NJROTC is a volunteer group made up of parents and guardians of cadets enrolled in the program. Its primary role is to support the unit’s activities through fundraising, event coordination, and communication with families. The association works closely with the NJROTC instructors to ensure cadets have the resources and support needed to participate in events such as drill competitions, community service projects, leadership camps, and military balls. Members of the association often help organize transportation, provide meals during events, and assist with uniform preparation or fundraising efforts. By getting involved, parents not only contribute to the success of the unit but also stay connected to their child’s growth in leadership, citizenship, and personal discipline. They play a key role in coordinating NJROTC senior scholarships as well.
