This packet provides parents and cadets with information about the 2026 North Rockland High School NJROTC Basic Cadet Training (BCT) program. BCT is an optional, week-long training program designed to support cadets at all experience levels.

Senior cadets will serve as drill instructors under the guidance of Chief Duncan, a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer, while veteran cadets will have the opportunity to strengthen and refine their leadership skills. For new cadets, BCT offers a strong foundation by teaching essential skills needed to successfully begin their journey in the NJROTC Company at North Rockland High School. 

While participation in BCT is not required for membership in the NJROTC program, it is highly encouraged for those looking to develop confidence, discipline, and leadership early on.
