Place your child's favorite sensory rings or balls (or any of their favorite water safe toys) into a bin or large bowl of water like the pictures below. Have your child explore the texture and temperature while you describe with words what they may be experiencing. For an added challenge, place the preferred toys to the left and right of the water container, so your child can reach out, grasp, and release the toys back into the container. As always, this activity should be completed with adult supervision.
