Artist Statement
Jordan is a writer/director who tries to blend surrealism and absurdism with a touch of deadpan to hopefully make something entertaining. Does he succeed? I don't know, and if I did know I wouldn't tell you.
Obsession
Obsession
Obsession is about a young couple who observe a lamp that teleports around their house.
When I heard that we would not be able to film our thesis projects due to COVID-19 I was very discouraged but I didn't let it stop me from making my own project. I knew that I was going to have a very small crew so I wrote a short script with minimal actors.
In Limbo
In Limbo is about two strangers who wake up in the woods and struggle to determine where they are as they talk to the people stuck in the same place.
This is the script that I wrote to be my thesis. I had initially written it in Level III, but I continued to work on it throughout Level IV. We got a chance to record a reading of our scripts with professional actors.
