Aspring Documentary-Maker
Lilly Florence is an 18 year-old aspiring documentary/film-maker based in New Orleans. She also love to dabble in music, and have been playing violin since I was 9 years old. After starting to produce music her sophmore year of highschool after coming to NOCCA, she fell in love with the idea of making scores for her own work. She loves the interdisciplinary aspect of media arts, and incorporating music and visuals into her work makes it feel more complete. Although she's produced a few songs and short films this year, she is primarily focused on working on a documentary about how coastal erosion impacts Isle de Jean Charles, Louisiana. Aside from media arts, she likes to spend her time cooking, baking, making jewelry, and playing the violin. She plans to continue pursuing film and music in college, along with anthropology.
